O Filme “Noite Feliz”
O filme inédito conta a verdadeira história da canção mais
popular de Natal de todos os tempos, composta por um sacerdote católico.
Noite Feliz: Em 1818, quando Joseph Mohr é designado para ser o novo
assistente de padre em Oberndorf, em uma pequena cidade da Áustria, perto de
Salzburgo, o jovem está cheio de ideias e ideais.
Sua paixão para trazer a igreja mais
perto das pessoas comuns coloca-o em rota de colisão com o seu superior, o
padre Noestler.
Quando Mohr organiza um coro da
igreja e realiza as missas em alemão, ao invés do latim, Noestler o ameaça com
uma ação disciplinar. O relacionamento se deteriora ainda mais quando Mohr
convida uma mulher para o coro da Igreja, o qual era formado exclusivamente por
homens.
Na noite antes do Natal Mohr tem que
decidir se ele vai aceitar a derrota e deixar Oberndorf ou abraçar o verdadeiro
significado da Noite Santa.
